Terms of Service
Last updated October 6, 2026
These terms govern your use of this copy of Attend, RSVP software for weddings and events, operated by Abdul Rahman (“I,” “me”) at rsvp.abdxl.com. By creating an event, signing in as an organizer, or responding to an invitation as a guest, you agree to these terms.
The service
Attend lets an organizer build an event, invite guests by party, collect RSVPs and custom-question answers, and track responses and budget from a dashboard. Guests respond using a unique invite code or link sent by their organizer; no guest account is required. This service is free to use.
Who provides this service
I operate this copy of Attend independently, and I am the only person responsible to you for it. The Attend software is licensed to me by its developer. The developer does not operate this service, is not a party to these terms, and makes no commitments to you.
Organizer accounts
Organizers sign in with a magic link sent to their email address; there is no password. You’re responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, since it is how Attend identifies you and how sign-in links are delivered.
Organizer responsibilities
By adding a guest’s information to Attend, whether by typing it in or importing a file, you confirm that you have the right to share it with me and to use Attend to contact them on your behalf. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the event and guest information you enter, and for using Attend’s invitation, reminder, announcement, and automatic-reminder tools only to communicate about the event you created, not for marketing, promotion of any business, or unsolicited messages. If your event is a commercial one, you are responsible for complying with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation and any other law that applies to the messages you send.
Guest categories are for planning your event, such as seating, catering, or headcounts. Create only the categories you need, and don’t use them to record information about guests’ health, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or similar sensitive characteristics except where your event’s arrangements genuinely require it and your guests would expect it.
You’re responsible for any cover image you upload: you must own it or have permission to use it, and it must not include people who haven’t agreed to appear in it. You’re also responsible for who you share an event’s invite links or codes with, since anyone holding one can view that invite and respond to it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Attend to:
- violate any law;
- harass, defraud, or deceive guests or other organizers;
- attempt to access another organizer’s event or data without authorization;
- interfere with or disrupt the service; or
- upload content you don’t have the right to share.
I may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms.
Availability
This service is provided on a best-effort basis. I don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and I don’t offer a service-level agreement. Organizers should not rely on it as the only record of a time-sensitive event without a backup plan for critical dates.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this service, including lost data, missed guests, or event disruptions. The service is provided free of charge and “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Termination
You may stop using this service at any time; deleting your events and parties removes their data as described in the Privacy Policy. I may suspend or terminate an organizer’s access for violating these terms or for extended inactivity, with notice where practical. If I decide to close the service, I will give organizers reasonable notice so they can save what they need, and then delete the data it holds.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms as this service changes. If I make a material change, I will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this service will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
